Golf is a great activity to enjoy fresh air, connect with nature and friends,
improve fine muscle coordination, and provide exercise (especially when
you don’t use a cart). Each year more than 25 million Americans golf
regularly. However, many people restrict or stop playing because of injury.
By the age of fifty, 80% of regular golfers will develop Osteoarthritis,
a condition that affects the joints and eventually causes bone-to-bone friction.
Did You Know…
- Golfers spend approximately $3,825,000 each year on new or improved
equipment.
- 62% of golfers are injured each year.
- Most golfers will not invest any time or money in the most essential
piece of equipment – their body. If the body’s muscles
and joints are sore or out of balance, efforts to improve performance
will be hindered.
