Currently Teaching (2014-2015)
I am an instructor in the College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I am also a clinical supervisor in the University’s teaching clinics. Since 20012, I have been practicing in my own private practice, in which I focus primarily on women’s health issues, geriatrics, pain management, internal medicine disorders and depression/anxiety.
I love teaching in the classroom and supervising interns. I believe that it is incredibly important for students to learn that listening skills are vital. I emphasize to my students that they must learn how to do individualized treatment planning in an organized, timely and professional way. I also teach my students to respect the importance of integrative care, whether that means utilizing western medical intervention or respecting the importance of energy fields, while treating with acupuncture and Oriental medicine.
