Course Schedule



The Herbal Medicine Certificate Program is typically completed in two and one-third calendar years in a part-time day schedule (seven consecutive trimesters), but may be extended due to individual circumstances.

Students are accepted into the programs in the Fall and Summer trimesters, which begin in September and May, respectively. Transfer students may be admitted at the beginning of any trimester.

HERBAL MEDICINE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
For Students Entering in 2008/2009

NOTE:
In addition to the courses listed above, students must either take a CPR course at Northwestern Health Sciences University or show proof of having taken a CPR course at the Provider level, prior to starting clinic internship hours.

CLINIC REQUIREMENTS:
Students must complete 240 hours (8 credits) of clinic internship consisting of six 60-hour shifts and comprised of both herbal and acupuncture internship hours. One designated 60-hour shift of hebal internship must be taken as part of the 240 hours.
