Interesting facts about me
Brown-eyed girl. Amateur runner. Natural health and fitness fanatic. Coffee addict and lover of wine. Wanna-be, try-to-be world traveler.
My favorite thing about working at Northwestern
I have the best profession in the world. I have the opportunity to first motivate others to follow their dreams, and then witness and support those students while they grow and mature into their chosen professions. I can’t think of anything more rewarding.
Before working at Northwestern
I brought to Northwestern a myriad of all-encompassing admissions skills, from leadership to social media to admissions analysis and marketing. Before I joined Northwestern, I gained my professional experience within the realm of higher education by mastering everything from a newbie recruiter to working my way to a Director of Admissions role. I hold a B.A. from the College of Saint Benedict & Saint John’s University and an M.B.A. from Globe University/Minnesota School of Business.
My life outside Northwestern
I’m a Minnesota girl obsessed with everything summer and nothing winter…except hockey and hot chocolate! You’ll find me boating on the Saint Croix River or taking in the freedom of a motorcycle ride. I love taking on (and crushing!) new challenges while finding ways to perfect anything that comes my way. Most recently, I took on the challenge of running my first half-marathon, skydiving and traveling to Dubai.
I like being active, anything outdoors, reading good books, time spent on the beach listening to the ocean while soaking up the sun, and surrounding myself with the laughter and love of family, friends and my two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Austin and Griffin.
