Discovery Day

Discover what makes the Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MCAOM) unique! From hands-on techniques courses taught by our multi-national, full-time faculty members to our exceptional clinical internship program, you'll develop your clinical skills with real-world experiences and a wide variety of patients.

Discovery Day is a vital step in making a decision about which acupuncture and Oriental medicine program is best for you. Join us and bring all your questions...you'll find out why MCAOM is exactly the right place to begin your future as an acupuncture and Oriental medicine practitioner.

For participating in Discovery Day, we will award you a:

  • $1,000 first-term tuition grant, OR
  • $500 first-term tuition grant and up to $500 reimbursement for travel and lodging expenses

Both awards are made contingent upon application to Northwestern within 30 days of attendance of the Discovery Day.

Discovery Day provides you with an opportunity to:

  • Speak with our dean, faculty and current students
  • Obtain in-depth information about our curriculum and clinical internship program
  • Broaden your knowledge about the science and practice of acupuncture and Oriental medicine
  • Learn about the career outlook for acupuncture and Oriental medicine
  • Observe hands-on demonstrations of various techniques in Traditional Chinese Medicine
  • Enjoy a complimentary lunch while visiting with faculty and current students
  • Find out about the application and financial aid process
  • Tour campus with a Student Ambassador and visit our Herbal Dispensary

Many of our multi-national faculty were trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. They bring back their knowledge and experience not only to this seminar, but to the classroom and clinical training everyday.
