Vinnie the Vertebrate Costume Rental

Add some fun to your community events with Vinnie the Vertebrate – the Northwestern mascot who promotes health and wellness. The costume requires two people – one to function as Vinnie the Vertebrate and an assistant to guide Vinnie safely.

Rent Vinnie for:

• Community health fairs
• Clinic open houses
• School presentations
• Community parades
• Other public events

To rent Vinnie:

Step 1 – Check rental calendar

Check the Vinnie rental calendar for availability of the costume on the dates you are interested in.

Step 2 – Review rental policy

Review the Vinnie rental policy to fully understand the approved use of the Vinnie costume and associated costs (security deposit, rental fees and shipping).

Step 3 – Submit reservation request

Submit the Vinnie reservation. Allow 48 hours for approval of your request. Your requested dates will be on hold until you secure your reservation with a deposit.

Step 4 – Pay deposit to secure reservation

Once approved, you will receive an email that contains a key code. To secure your reservation with a deposit, click on the link in the email, enter your key code and submit your payment information into our secure service database.

Your reservation is NOT complete until your payment information is entered and approved. The security deposit and rental fees will post to this account.

Step 5 – Verify reservation

Once your credit card information is processed, your event will be reserved in the calendar. Check the Vinnie rental calendar to verify your reservation. You will receive a final confirmation email with your reservation and shipping information. If there are errors in your confirmation email or changes to your reservations, contact us immediately at 952-888-4777 ext. 163.

Step 6 – Arrange shipping

Shipping information is included in the final confirmation email (Step 5). You can have Vinnie shipped to you or pick it up at Northwestern. Review shipping information in the Vinnie rental policy. 

After your rental

Your deposit, minus any applicable fees as outlined in the Vinnie rental policy, will be refunded upon the successful return of the Vinnie the Vertebrate costume.
