Northwestern Health Sciences University Develops Unique Relationship With Starkey Hearing Foundation

Over the course of thelast several years, Northwestern Health Sciences University has developed a mutually beneficial relationship with The Starkey Hearing Foundation. The two organizations are both dedicated to "healing the world" andto providing outstanding health care services to people who often do not have access to them. The relationship has included Starkey's key involvement in numerous Northwestern fundraising events, including the UltimateBass Challenge, the President's Invitational Golf Tournament, and the Stars Among Us Gala.

The Starkey Hearing Foundation's mission is built upon the idea that “ Alone we can’t do much. But, together we can change the world.” Today the Foundation is sustained by the efforts of thousands of volunteers and donors around the world. The Foundation delivers more than 50,000 hearing aids annually through more than 100 hearing missions a year in countries stretching from the U.S. to Vietnam. In addition to giving the gift of hearing, the Foundation promotes hearing health awareness while supporting research and education.
