Review the neuroscience of low-back and hip pain, including the causes of pain; the pain sensitive structure; and the PNS and CNS pathways of pain. This discussion will be clinically-oriented, with therapeutic massage treatment modalities as the focus. In addition, current literature on cutting edge treatments in clinical orthopedics and spine surgery will be discussed so you can be well prepared for new clients in the coming years.
