Northwestern Connection
I am the director of clinic billing. I’m responsible for managing the charge and payment posting of services for the University clinic system, submission of insurance claims, and management of the accounts receivables. We strive for high customer satisfaction by processing claims as smoothly as possible. With changes in health plan requirements, there is never a dull moment!

Term of Service
I began at Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1986 as a front desk receptionist at the Highland Clinic located in St. Paul. After working in several different positions at Northwestern, I left for a short time in 1995. I returned a few years later in 1998, and have been greatly enjoying the last 10 years!

Thoughts on Northwestern
I think of Northwestern as home. I am here because of the students, and because I am committed to the field of natural health care.

Favorite Aspect of His Job
I really enjoy my staff and the interaction with the students, patients, and the clinic staff – really just all of the people! I sincerely love working here. There are always challenges, but I enjoy taking them on.

Most Rewarding Moment
When I returned to Northwestern after my brief hiatus, the clinic billing system was in need of overhauling. I helped implement a new system and we had great results! It was really rewarding. I also really enjoy hearing from graduates. I love to find out how they are doing.
