** Kids entertainment will begin at 9:15 a.m. so come early and enjoy the fun.
Awards ceremony for 5K run: 9:15 a.m. (prize drawing will also be held in the cafeteria)

COURSE

The 5k run/walk is an out-and-back course primarily on 84th Street and France Ave. The route is along suburban streets and includes several hills. Click here to check out maps of the two courses.

The 5k run begins at Northwestern Health Sciences University (2501 W. 84th Street) and heads west on 84th Street to France Avenue. Then the course heads South on France Avenue till 90th Street. Runners will take a left at 90th Street and another left until the Oak Hills Church Parking lot and head toward France Avenue and back.

The 5k walk begins at Northwestern Health Sciences University (2501 W. 84th Street) and heads west on 84th Street to France Avenue. Then the course heads around one side of Lake Girard, comes off of the lake an onto France Avenue. Walkers will take a left at 90th Street and another left until the Oak Hills Church Parking lot and head toward France Avenue. Then, walkers will return to the wood chipped path along Lake Girard and return to the University.

*Stollers and wheelchairs may follow the 5k run course.
