Barbara J. Gosse

I am a faculty clinician for the Bloomington Natural Care Center and assistant professor at the College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Northwestern Health Sciences University. I have practiced acupuncture and Oriental medicine for more than 18 years and have extensive experience working in diverse environments.

My practice experience includes working in hospital-based clinics, the prison system, drug treatment programs, and with homeless and refuge populations. I feel that the diversity in my practice has taught me to approach health care with a greater compassion and understanding for my patients' conditions. My experience has also provided me with a more comprehensive understanding of a person’s body, mind and spiritual health.

In addition to my practice, I supervise student interns for the University’s teaching clinics.
