I am a licensed acupuncturist and Oriental medicine practitioner at the Bloomington Natural Care Center and an assistant professor at the College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I am also an acupuncture supervisor at the Courage Center.
From 1998 until 2004, I practiced shiatsu therapy in Minneapolis, first at Hennepin Faculty Associates Alternative Medicine Clinic and later at Riverpath Clinic. Since 2004, I have also practiced acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine at Riverpath Clinic. In 2005, I began working as the lead acupuncture supervisor at Courage Center treating people with life-changing neurological disorders. My experience at Courage Center has allowed me to develop specialized skills in nerve and muscle rehabilitation, pain management, and the psycho-emotional aspects of disability.
In the spring of 2011, I traveled to China for advance study of neurology treatments at the First Affiliated Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I am now pleased to offer my services to clients at the Bloomington Natural Care Center.
