I am an associate clinical faculty member at the College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Northwestern Health Sciences University. I am also a supervising clinician for the University’s teaching clinics. My interest in acupuncture and Oriental medicine stems from a desire to find ways to prevent and treat disease so that we can live happy and fully functional lives.

I have extensive experience in providing acupuncture and Oriental medicine care to patients receiving treatment for addiction and those infected with HIV and AIDS. My career began at the Hennepin County Faculty Associates Alternative Medicine Clinic where I treated patients dealing with addiction. Later, I treated patients participating in Hazelden Treatment Center’s “Your Next Step Program,” a residential tobacco recovery program. During my time at Hazelden, I also treated HIV and AIDS patients through funds grated by the Ryan White Federal Grant.

In my private practice, I enjoy working with competitive athletes and have a special interest in treating sports injuries.
