Giving Back to the ProfessionDr. Jack and Joan Holtz Donate $100,000 Toward Northwestern’s Capital Campaign
Northwestern College of Chiropractic graduate Jack Holtz, DC, and his wife Joan recently donated $100,000 toward the University’s “Imagine Our Future” capital campaign. “Chiropractic has been my life,” said Dr. Holtz. “Northwestern enabled me to have a good life and a good income. I believe in giving back to the profession and the institution that has brought us to where we are.” Dr. Holtz has been a long-time supporter of Northwestern since he graduated in 1962. In addition to serving on the Northwestern College of Chiropractic Alumni Association Board of Directors, Dr. Holtz served for more than 30 years on the University’s Board of Trustees and is a trustee emeritus. In addition, Dr. Holtz was the second recipient of Northwestern’s Brilliant Star award, which recognizes honorees’ passion and commitment to the University. A long-time friend of John Wolfe, DC, Northwestern’s founder and president for 43 years, Dr. Holtz was instrumental in Northwestern’s growth over the last 45 years. “I hope that my gift in some way contributes to the future growth of the University and its endowment,” said Dr. Holtz. “I am fully supportive of what the University is doing. I have to support the mission — I helped shape it.” |
