University Donors Recognized at Ribbon-Cutting Dedication Ceremony
Posted March 16, 2009
Students, staff, faculty, alumni, and supporters of Northwestern Health Sciences University gathered in the corridor lounge on Feb. 6, 2009, at a ribbon-cutting dedication ceremony for the newly completed Wolfe-Harris Center for Excellence. Mark Zeigler, DC, president of Northwestern, delivered a speech thanking donors for supporting the University and making the new addition possible. “When we set a goal of raising more than $23 million several years ago as part of our Capital Campaign, a number of major donors stepped up and said that yes, they could “Imagine Our Future.’ They believed in our goal of becoming the university of choice in natural health care,” he said.
A group of major donors stood at the front of the room with Dr. Zeigler wearing red hats in honor of the late Bill Harris, DC, a long-time benefactor of Northwestern, who passed away in November 2008. Attendees watched as Dr. Zeigler and donors cut the ribbon together. Following the ceremony, cake and punch were served, and guests were invited to explore the new space.
