The Department of Clinical Education has
established an award to honor one intern each month who
best exemplifies a professional intern. The department
identified these criteria: Demonstrate an enthusiasm for
learning. Show high esteem for the chiropractic profession.
Participate in speaking engagements, health fairs, additional
elective clinical rotations, other service learning and
extra learning opportunities. Conduct oneself in a mature,
responsible, professional, and ethical manner. Demonstrate
effective communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, and
written.) Follow department policies and procedures. Turn
in accurate and timely paperwork.
Interested T8, 9 and 10 interns are invited
to fill out an application. Practice marketing yourself
and your skills to potential patients by applying for this
award!
The Department of Clinical Education will
select an Intern of the Month if qualifying applications
are received. Interns are eligible to receive this award
once per term. Their opinions about their internship, rotations,
and the Clinical Education program are presented in the
following interviews, providing valuable insight and relevant
information about the program for natural health care students.
