I have always been interested in the natural approach to health care as an avid athlete and sports enthusiast. When I was a student, I researched chiropractic programs and was accepted at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1985 - I have never looked back.

Owning my own chiropractic clinic in Eden Prairie was a dream come true, but my real passion was in teaching others. I taught part-time at Northwestern College of Chiropractic beginning in 1988 and became a full-time instructor in 1991. I was awarded Teacher of the Year in the mid-nineties. In 2007, I became a full professor and a State and National Board examiner. I have participated in development of National Board testing questions for methods, chaired the Behavioral Standards and Peer Performance committees, and served on the committee for North Central Accreditation. I currently serve on the assessment committee for Clinic Competencies Examination Testing. I have also volunteered many times at Chiro Games and was a faculty advisor for the Diversified Club.

My personal reward is in helping and mentoring students to achieve their goals, and to do this with knowledge, experience, integrity and humor.
