Although my teaching assignments and medical technology background include both biology and chemistry, my main academic interests are microbiology, particularly infectious diseases, and public health epidemiology.
I am currently interested in emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, including community-associated methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (CA-MRSA). I enjoy teaching and am interested in online learning, active learning strategies and their assessment.
