Currently Teaching (2012-2013)
I joined the faculty at Northwestern in 2001. As a faculty liaison between Northwestern and the Community Based Internship (CBI) program, I meet with doctors who mentor students for credentialing, orientation, feedback and liaison visits. I represent the department and the program to the community-based faculty. I am a past-president of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association and received a diplomate from the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists in 1993.
Since 2004, I have had interns in my office in Owatonna, MN, through the CBI program. I use the skills and insight I gained as a clinical supervisor to assist other supervising clinicians in mentoring interns. Having interns in my office is an educational and rewarding experience for me. I want to do what I can to assure every doctor and intern in the CBI program has a similar experience.
