Vinnie the Vertebrate is one of the Health Heroes at Northwestern Health Sciences University designed to promote health and wellness in the community. Vinnie the Vertebrate promotes the “Stand Tall America” program, which has been developed by Northwestern Health Sciences University. The program encourages school children to stand, think and act tall and emphasizes, “Vinnie’s Five Rules for Healthy Posture.”

Vinnie’s costume is available for public use in the appropriate setting. The Vinnie costume rental includes a Power Point presentation with age appropriate information, specific talking points to illustrate the main messages of Vinnie; and can be combined with give-aways for children. The use of the costume would require a person to function as Vinnie the Vertebrate, who would not speak. In addition, you will need a speaker to accompany Vinnie who would highlight all the main points for that particular presentation.

The Vinnie the Vertebrate costume is available for appearances at any school function with age appropriate messages for each setting; community health events; personal business events; and any public events within reason (See Policy). Vinnie’s presentation emphasizes sitting up and standing tall at an early age and is a general reminder for all ages to be conscious of the benefits of healthy posture. 	Vinnie Costume Rental Calendar You can go online now and check the University calendar for the dates you are interested. However, you must complete the reservation process and secure your deposit in order to reserve the Vinnie Costume.
