HISTORY:
67 year-old man with the left knee pain. The pain is exacerbated
by running or heavy lifting. There are asymptomatic periods
when the patient is able to engage in normal activities without
problem. When aggravated, symptoms become acute and the knee
becomes swollen.
EXAMINATION:
Orthopedic test are negative. Laboratory work is negative,
specifically there is no evidence of hyperuricemia.
