HISTORY:
36 year-old male with acute left-sided chest pain and tugging
sensation. Onset during sleep the previous night. History
of chronic asthma.
EXAMINATION:
Vital signs: pulse 100; blood pressure 145/82; temperature
98.6. Patient responsive, tachypneic, pale, perspiring. Heart
sounds within normal limits. Diminished breath sounds on left.
