Timothy Stark, DC, DACBSP, ICSSD, CSCS, CKTP, PhD (Candidate Murdoch University) is currently the coordinator for Northwestern Health Sciences University’s sports injuries DVD series and post-graduate Physical Rehabilitation programs.
He graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s of science degree in corporate and community fitness, with a minor in biology. Then he graduated as a doctor of chiropractic and continued on to complete his residency/ fellowship in sports chiropractic and rehabilitation at Northwestern College of Chiropractic.
In 1998 Dr. Stark started a practice in West Fargo, ND. He sold his practice in 2004 and ventured to Perth, Australia to assist Murdoch University with the development of a new Chiropractic program. While at Murdoch University he instructed programs including Physical Rehabilatation, Physiotherapeutics, Clinical Neurology, Clinical Orthopedics, and Applied Clinical Nutrition. He is in his fifth part-time year (as of 2011) addressing issues on Human Performance and Rehabilitation.
He has attended a number of domestic and international sporting events as a sports chiropractor; Mexican Juvenile Olympics, Atlanta Olympics, Sydney Olympics, Salt Lake City Olympics, Duisberg World Games. He filled the roll of Team Sports Chiro and/or Team Physician for a number of teams including the Minnesota Monsters, Minnesota Football League, FM Acrobat Team, American Gold Gymnastics, FM Jets (NAHL ice hockey), Fargo Force (USHL ice hockey). Dr. Stark is also a sports medicine consultant for USA Volleyball men and women’s teams and serves on the Medical Board for Rocktape (www.rocktape.com).
