Without sleep, there can be no real healing. In an aging soceity, insomnia is becoming increasingly more prevalent and difficult issue to solve. Learn what happens during sleep and how to identify the underlying obstacles to restful, rejuvenating sleep. Target effective acupunture treatments to help the different types of sleeplessness. Find out which herbal and nutritive remedies can be effective in the treatment of insomnia.

About the Instructor
Peter Lichtenstein, DC, CCSP, LAc
- 1992 graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic.
- Practicing chiropractor and holds a diplomate (NCCAOM) in acupuncture.
- Owns New Paltz Acupuncture and Chiropractic Clinic in upstate New York where he blends Eastern-style health care with traditional chiropractic.
- He is past-president of the Acupuncture Society of New York.
- Cerfified Chiropractic Sports Physician.
- Post-graduate faculty at Northwestern Health Sciences University since 2003.
