Join
us for an interactive dialogue celebrating the cultures
that are prevalent in our communities. You will learn
about history, common health concerns and considerations
such as addressing language barriers, overcoming cultural
biases and managing specific needs of various cultures.
A panel of speakers for each of the sessions will include
experienced health care practitioners and community
cultural leaders.

Oyelowo, DC, Diversity Chair, Northwestern Health
Sciences University.
She graduated from the University of MN with a bachelor
of science in chemistry and psychology, and from
Northwestern as a doctor of chiropractic. She is
the chair of Northwestern's diversity commission
and a faculty member of the chiropractic program.
She is devoted to the University's mission of creating
an environment which fosters understanding and an
appreciation for diverse opinions and ideas.
