Advanced Nutrition
You will learn the link between nutritional and dietary principles and chronic degenerative disease. You are introduced to macro nutrition balancing, micro nutrients, supplements, popular diets and their clinical applications. You will also examine principles for the promotion of health, wellness and longevity through diet. $477- 30 hours.

Reflexology I
You will learn how to integrate reflexology with a massage therapy session or to use it as an independent modality. Learn the history, philosophy, and principles of reflexology; a reflex map of the feet related to reflexology; specific reflexology techniques; as well as pathology and contraindication as the relate to the technique. $477 - 30 hours.

You will learn more advanced principles of reflexology in a hands-on environment. Be prepared to give and receive treatments. Will prepare you for the certification exam. $477 - 30 hours. Prerequisite: Reflexology I

Geriatric Massage
Learn techniques for massaging the aging population. You will explore physical, emotional and mental changes associated with aging. Common symptomologies and disabilities for which massage is indicated will be discussed. Hands-on techniques will be covered. $477 - 30 hours.

Cancer and Massage Therapy
You will learn to deliver massage therapy to patients at various stages of cancer treatment, from early diagnosis to advanced stages. You start with a 16-hour weekend which will teach you the basics of working with clients with cancer including contraindications, precautions, benefits, psychological components. Then you will participate in a 21 hour (seven 3-hour sessions) clinical rotation at a local outpatient cancer treatment center. Rotation schedule determined during the class. $477 - 37 hours.

Hospital-Based Massage Therapy
Prepare yourself to work in a hospital setting. You will gain knowledge of techniques that allow massage for medically frail patients and explanation of common medical conditions and symptoms. This will enable you to work confidently in the highly complex and sometimes mystifying medical setting. Start with a 16-hour weekend which will cover the fundamentals of working as a massage therapist in a hospital setting. Then you will participate in a 21-hour (seven 3-hour sessions) clinical rotation at a Twin Cities hospital. $477 - 37 hours.

Insurance Billing Practices for Massage Therapists
The decision whether or not to accept insurance as a form of payment, in your office, can be a challenging one to make. Attending this class will teach you the policies and procedures for proper insurance billing and successful reimbursement. You will learn step by step the process of submitting claims for third party reimbursement, sample claim forms and correct coding information. $159 - 8 hours.

Learn how to approach your athletic patients to better solve the challenges they encounter. Find out which muscle groups are affected by certain sports and how to best approach their therapy. $159 - 8 hours.

Infant Massage
Learn to teach parents techniques for massaging infants and growing children. You will explore physical, emotional and mental changes associated with the developmental stages of infants and children. Common childhood symptomologies and disabilities for which massage is indicated will be discussed. Hands-on techniques include working with infant models. $465 - 30 hours.
