Learn about Ortho-Bionomy® a gentle, non-invasive, osteopathically-based form of body therapy that addresses the entire being. The practitioner uses gentle movements and positioning of the body to facilitate a self-motivated change in postural and pain patterns on a neurological level. A strong focus is placed on the comfort of the individual. By moving the body in ways that mirror its references, there is a subtle recognition of the pattern on the deepest levels, provoking self-correction. This acknowledging, supportive way of being with other creates a nurturing atmosphere for profound healing.
General Position Release (Oct 3-4 or Nov 7-8, 2009) provides the fundamental principles and techniques for positioning the body for release. It is easily integrated into any existing practice, and requires no previous knowledge or experience.
Specific Position Release (Jan 23-24, 2009) applies the principles to addressing specific points of tension in the body in a more focused manner.
