Alyssa Hitch Johnson, Ba, MsOM, Dipl.Ac., L.Ac graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2007 with a masters degree in oriental medicine.
In 2008, she opened a private practice in NC and trasitioned it into a community clinic in 2009. Over the next three years she built, managed, practed, and then sold her community clinic in 2012 to start her next dream, practicesmart.
Alyssa has 10 years of experience in CAM practice management, eight in small business start-up planning, and loves sharing her acquired knowledge with other practitioners.
Shocked by the lack of business education provided in school curriculum and inspired to help the profession, she merged all her training and the many lessons she personally learned in practice to create the smartstart system, a curriculum designed specifically to teach acupuncture and oriental medicine practitioners how to be successful in business. |
