| Wei Chieh Young, PhD, OMD, LAc is a prolific writer and noted author of over 40 works on Chinese Medicine and has over 35 years of clinical experienced. He has received many requests from practitioners all over the world, for training since he has published the book "Tung's Acupuncture" in September of 2005 (with a newly revised version released in February 2008). Master Tung's Acupuncture and his special needling methods have recently gained attention in Taiwan, China, Europe and the United States, as the most famous of his disciples, Dr. Young has extensively lecture abroad and in the US and is a sought after distinguished speaker. |
Course Description
You will learn the special needling techniques (i.e. Dong Qi, Dao Ma, and Qian Yin) through treatment demonstrations and theoretical principle. The subject will focus on strategies for pain management. Learning objectives include:
- Introduce needling technique, treatments and theoretical principles of Tung's Acupuncture
- Focus on strategies for commonly seen clinical disorders
- Improve practice effectiveness and quickly widen its application
You will experience Tung's Acupuncture through theoretical discussion, special techniques, point location and strategies for managing pain and difficult diseases. It will be a hands-on practical experience.
