Learn how to use advanced techniques to treat common sports injuries in the upper and lower extremities. Learn tendino-muscle meridians, distal points, and strategies using the opposite side and opposite extremity.
Treating the site of injury is detailed with such techniques as threading the tendon, trigger point therapy and fascial release.
This seminar is the integration of traditional Chinese acupuncture with western orthopedic and sports medicine. Having spent over 30 years specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, Whitfield’s clinical experience is invaluable for practitioners working with pain.
Each injury will consist of lecture, demonstration, and supervised practice which limits the class size to 40 people. The objective is for you to be more informed about the diagnosis and assessment of the injury as well as confident in your approach to treatment.
