| Conferences offer a wonderful opportunity to share innovative ideas, successful new projects, and even challenging experiences. But before you get a chance to share your work, you'll need to convince the conference reviewers that it is worthy of sharing.
Dr. Roni Evans has been submitting abstracts for over a decade, resulting in many successes, and a fair amount of rejection. She has also served as a reviewer for several conferences, trying to give potential-presenters a fair shake and facilitate the dissemination of innovative work. More often than not however, she has found that authors fall short of submitting what is needed to provide a fair and appropriate review of their topic. Potentially great ideas get rejected because of errors or omissions that could be easily fixed if the author only knew how important they were. Dr. Evans will provide simple and straight forward tips that will make it easy for a reviewer to critique your work, and feel good about recommending it for conference presentation. |
