FACULTY EXCELLENCE AWARDS

Excellence in Teaching [$500 cash award]

Awarded to one University faculty member per year based on nomination from other faculty members. No self-nominations are accepted. Applications are due at the beginning of the Summer term, reviewed and selected by the CTL Advisory Committee, and awarded at a faculty honors event. Criteria include innovation in materials and/or delivery, exceptional demonstrated mastery of content and communication skills.

Excellence in University Patient Care [$500 cash award]

Awarded to one University faculty member per year based on nomination from other faculty members. No self-nominations are accepted. Applications are due at the beginning of the Summer term, reviewed and selected by the CTL Advisory Committee, and awarded at a faculty honors event. Criteria include innovation in skills demonstrated as a consultant/instructor, mentor/role model, observer/evaluator, and in professionalism and patient care.

Excellence in Research, Scholarship or Creative Activities [$500 cash award]

Awarded to one University faculty member per year based on nomination from other faculty members. No self-nominations are accepted. Applications are due at the beginning of the Summer term, reviewed and selected by the CTL Advisory Committee, and awarded at a faculty honors event. Criteria include exceptional efforts beyond usual work assignments in the areas of research, scholarship or creative activities.
