Conversations on Culture Seminar Series
An overview of the history and culture of various communities
to include, Health care expectations, customs, challenges and
concerns, Skill development and Guidelines to enhance cultural
competency in the health care practice
Objectives
To enhance the understanding of the specific health needs of select ethnic and cultural groups
To discuss strategies to enhance culturally competent health care delivery.

Time: All sessions run from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Location: All sessions are on the campus of NWHSU and are tentatively scheduled in L2. Posted signs in the building on the day of the seminar will confirm room allocation.
