Fadumo Ali and Andrea Everson from the Center for Somali Health will speak on the work of WellShare International, history and culture of Somalia, the differences between Somali and U.S. health care systems, barriers to care and some solutions to those barriers, the role of religion and culture in health care and recommendations for working with women in the Somali community.
