Northwestern Health Sciences University Offers Summer Science Academy for Low-Income and Minority Students
Program Overview
They will have the opportunity to learn all kinds of cool things about the health sciences, ranging from making vitamins to using a microscope to analyzing blood. And they will get to engage in a bunch of experiential learning opportunities unlike anything they have experienced before. Finally, they will build relationships and engage in learning experiences that will create a lifetime of memories and friendships.
Students who attend will have the opportunity to: Students who attend the academy as eigth graders will have the opportunity to return to Northwestern’s campus each summer for up to four years to be a part of the annual Summer Science Academy. Mission The Mission of the Northwestern Health Sciences University’s Summer Science Academy is to advance and promote careers and opportunities in the health sciences through excellence in education, mentorship and community involvement
