Healy Family Memorial Scholarship

In memory of Jack Healy, a cultural geography professor and Betty Healy, a public health nurse – the parents of John Healy, and parents-in-law of Nancy Healy, administrative assistant. Both valued education and preventive health care. The scholarship is awarded to an eligible student.

Healy Family Single Parent Scholarship

Also in memory of Jack and Betty Healy who were both raised in single-parent households. This scholarship is awarded to a single-parent student.

Dr. Cory D. Anderson Memorial Scholarship

Established to honor the memory of Cory D. Anderson, DC, who was loved and respected by his family, friends and patients. Dr. Anderson was deeply committed to chiropractic and compassionate care. Awarded to an eligible student who demonstrates compassion, strong “people skills” and integrity.

Dr. Ronald R. Bubel Memorial Scholarship

In memory of this well known and much loved doctor of chiropractic in South Dakota. Dr. Bubel served in every elected position of the South Dakota Chiropractic Association and many years on the University Board of Trustees. Awarded to a deserving student from South Dakota.

Robert and Joey Crotteau Memorial Scholarship

In memory of two of the six victims of the 2004 Wisconsin deer hunting tragedy, the brother and nephew of Steve Crotteau, a 2002 graduate. Awarded to a student who has advanced the mission and vision of Northwestern Health Sciences University.

Joel Demoskoff Memorial Scholarship

Established by classmates, University faculty and staff In memory of this first-trimester chiropractic student who passed away from natural causes at the age of 25. Joel is remembered for his gentle spirit, and excellence in everything he undertook. Awarded to an eligible Canadian student.

Dr. Norman Horns Faculty Legacy Scholarship

Created by T6 students in honor of Dr. Horns, associate professor, for his dedication to the student body and his free review courses to help students pass their National Board exams. This scholarship honors all the professors the students have come to love and respect. Awarded to an eligible student.

Dr. Joel Johnston Memorial Scholarship

Established to celebrate the dynamic life and love of learning exhibited by Joel Johnston, DC. Dr. Johnston’s commitment to chiropractic was demonstrated in his incredible drive to further the profession through knowledge and research, as well as to educate students and doctors. Awarded to an eligible student who demonstrates compassion, a strong drive for knowledge, strong “people skills” and integrity.

Dr. Jeffrey Jones Memorial Scholarship

In memory of this 1994 graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic who passed away after a long battle with cancer. Dr. Jones was originally from Ontario and practiced in California. Awarded to an eligible Canadian student.

Dr. Victor Marty Memorial Scholarship

In memory of a champion of Northwestern. Dr. Marty was a past board member and a very active and dedicated alum over the years. Awarded to an eligible student.

Dr. Vincent A. Pankratz Memorial Scholarship

Established by family and friends in memory of this wonderful 1949 graduate of the University. Awarded to a married student from a Midwest state (Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota or Wisconsin).
