ORTH6005:REGIONAL ORTHOPEDICS II
Covers relevant anatomy, biomechanics, history and physical examination, differential diagnosis, management (active and passive) of conditions (common and critical) of the thoracic spine, lumbar spine and pelvis and lower extremity. Special emphasis will be placed on the work-up of signs and symptoms (rather than named disorders) to ensure complete coverage of conditions at a level commensurate with advanced study of clinical orthopedics. Additional time is spent discussing organic pathologies that may mimic neuromusculoskeletal disorders, particularly from the chest and abdomen.
