Covers relevant anatomy, biomechanics, history and physical examination, differential diagnosis, management (active and passive) of conditions (common and critical) of the head, neck, TMJ and upper extremity. Special emphasis will be placed on the work-up of signs and symptoms (rather than named disorders) to ensure complete coverage of conditions at a level commensurate with advanced study of clinical orthopedics. Additional time is spent discussing organic pathologies that may mimic neuromusculoskeletal disorders of the upper extremity (e.g. referred pain).
