Departments

The College of Graduate Health Sciences is organized in three academic departments.

Department of Clinical Chiropractic Orthopedics

Chair: Jerry Wildenauer, DC, FACO

Dr. Jerry Wildenauer is executive director of the Executive Board of the American Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists

Courses in the department include Advanced Orthopedic Principles and Practice; Clinical Neuroscience; Diagnostic Imaging, Clinical Lab and Nutrition; Regional Orthopedics 1 and 2: Upper and Lower Extremities; Biomechanics and Kinesiology/Physical Rehabilitation; Pediatric Orthopedics; Geriatric Orthopedics; Occupational Health 1 and 2; Exercise Science; and Physical Rehabilitation. Capstone Project and Master's Thesis.

Department of Clinical Nutrition

Standard Process Chair of Clinical Nutrition: Noel Aldrich, BS

Noel Aldrich is a PhD candidate in nutrition at the University of Minnesota.

Courses in the department include Macronutrients; Micronutrients; Nutrition Assessment; Women’s Health; Lifecycle Nutrition; Concepts in Holistic Nutrition; and Clinical Nutrition 1, 2, and 3: GI Disorders, Endocrine Disorders and Inflammation. Master's Thesis.

Department of Diagnostic Imaging

Chair: Anita Manne, DC, DACBR

Dr. Anita Manne is the director of Radiological Consultation Services at Northwestern Health Sciences University.

Courses in the department include Musculoskeletal System 1, 2, 3, and 4: Arthritic Disorders, Orthopedic Trauma, Tumor and Tumor-like Conditions and Hematopoietic Disturbances; Imaging of the Chest: Neuroradiology: Imaging of the Gastrointestinal and the Genitourinary Systems; and Principles of Diagnostic Imaging. Capstone Project and Master's Thesis.
