Graduation Requirements
Master of Health Science in Clinical Nutrition
The MHS in Clinical Nutrition degree is granted to those candidates who have:
- Completed the required courses of the Clinical Nutrition program
- Completed a thesis manuscript containing a literature review of an approved nutrition topic using evidence based research methods and of publishable quality for a peer-reviewed journal
- Submitted a complete electronic portfolio containing these documents:
- Three human case studies on nutrition protocols - compiled in the required format presented by the University
- Three presentations to peers on evidence-based literature
- Four monographs of dietary supplements or herbal supplements and their interactions
- Three course papers on topics in nutrition assessment, women’s health and lifestyle nutrition
- Two online multimedia presentations on evidence-based nutrition
- One development plan for an Integrative Health Care program including nutrition
