Graduation Requirements

Master of Health Science in Clinical Nutrition

The MHS in Clinical Nutrition degree is granted to those candidates who have:

  1. Completed the required courses of the Clinical Nutrition program
  2. Completed a thesis manuscript containing a literature review of an approved nutrition topic using evidence based research methods and of publishable quality for a peer-reviewed journal
  3. Submitted a complete electronic portfolio containing these documents:
    • Three human case studies on nutrition protocols - compiled in the required format presented by the University
    • Three presentations to peers on evidence-based literature
    • Four monographs of dietary supplements or herbal supplements and their interactions
    • Three course papers on topics in nutrition assessment, women’s health and lifestyle nutrition
    • Two online multimedia presentations on evidence-based nutrition
    • One development plan for an Integrative Health Care program including nutrition
