Course builds upon information learned in ORTH 6210 with special emphasis on the wide array of prevention and proactive solutions to occupational health-related challenges for the chiropractic orthopedist. Discussion also includes career opportunities and professional advancement available to appropriately trained doctors of chiropractic. Practical session involves training in the performance of the physical examination of interstate motorized vehicle operators, preparing class participants to sit for the examination required in becoming federally certified in the performance of DOT physical exams and becoming a member of the National Registry of DOT examiners.
