This course presents the fundamentals of nutrition and health through each stage of life from childhood to old age. Nutritional interventions that apply to each part of the life cycle are presented. Case studies representing each stage in the life cycle are reviewed with consideration to socioeconomic and cultural diversity, physiological principles, and nutritional recommendations. Effective client counseling strategies will be practiced by the students.
