MyPyramid.gov provides redesigned food pyramids based on the revised 2005 dietary guidelines. The revised pyramids focus on physical activity as well as the foods you eat.

By providing your unique information (age, sex, activity level), you will get a pyramid with guidelines that are specific to you. Children as well as adults can find value in the tools provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

MyPyramid.gov also includes a MyPyramid Plan to help you choose the foods and amounts that are appropriate for you. In addition, you can use the advice provided to help you

  • Make smart choices from every food group,
  • Find your balance between food and physical activity, and
  • Get the most nutrition out of your calories.
