Do You Really Sleep as Much as You Think You Do?

Did you know you sleep less than what you think you do?! According to a study of 669 people in Chicago, they said they get less sleep than what they like. But if you asked them how long they sleep, they calculated more time than what they actually get.

  • White women sleep the longest – six hours and 42 minutes per night.
    • They fall asleep the fastest – 13 minutes.
    • They spend the most time in bed – nearly eight hours.
    • They slept most efficiently – 85.7% of their time in bed.
  • Black men slept the least – five hours and six minutes per night.
    • They took the longest amount of time to fall asleep – about 36 minutes.
    • They spent the least amount of time in bed – about seven hours.
    • They slept least efficiently – 73.2% of their time in bed.
