Adding physical activity to your daily routine can help you feel more energetic. It can be your solution to feeling tired, bored, and out of shape.

The best type is the one or two that you will do! Pick an activity that you enjoy and you can easily fit into your daily routine.


Start with moderate physical activity.

Moderate physical activity, such as walking or stair climbing for 10 minutes, three times a day, is a good place to start. Other moderate activities include dancing, raking leaves, vacuuming, and bowling.

Consider vigorous physical activity for additional benefits.

As you become more fit, consider adding more vigorous physical activity to your routine. Vigorous activity provides provide additional health benefits. Vigorous activities include bicycling, swimming, jogging/running, playing sports (basketball, football, soccer, baseball), marching in place and aerobics.
