Take these steps now to achieve and maintain a healthy weight:
- Change to a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and beans. You
will be consuming fewer calories, but still feel full and get plenty
of health-promoting nutrients
- Watch your portion size. Avoid commercial snacks and meals that
have oversized portions. Eat slowly and stop when you are full rather
than when you have emptied your plate or container of food.
- Stay physically active.
