It’s easy to massage your feet by resting one foot on the opposite leg. Did you know that bad posture, a backache, and fatigue can all stem from an unnoticed foot problem? If you massage your feet each day, you can refresh your whole body. The following is a useful technique to massage your feet:
- Start by placing one hand on top of the other under the sole of the foot, then stroke your toes to your ankles. Glide your hands back to your toes.
- While supporting your foot with one hand, individually stroke your toes to your ankles. Repeat.
- Place your thumb on top of the other and firmly press down the center of your sole on either side. With one thumb, do continuously circular pressures on the arch and ball of the foot.
- Support your foot with one hand and make a loose fist with the other. Do knuckle movements all throughout your sole and also ripple your fingers around in small, circular movements.
- While holding your foot still with one hand, hack the sole with your other free hand. The moment your hand touches your foot, flick your hand away so you feel an effect that is light and springy.
- Then stroke only your ankle with your fingertips and continue to stroke up toward the leg and gently as you glide back. Finish by stroking the sole of your foot as you did in the beginning.
