Healthy Lifestyle Can Reduce High Blood Pressure

Results of a recent study reconfirms that the following healthy habits can lower blood pressure for a significant number of people: 1) being physically active; 2) following the DASH eating plan rich in fruits and vegetables and low in saturated and total fat, salt, and cholesterol; and 3) drinking alcohol in moderation (no more than one drink per day for women and two per day for men) if a person drinks alcohol.
