Skin Health

Your skin is the largest organ in your body. You have approximately 19 million skin cells on every square inch of your body! The role of skin is to protect your other organs and body parts from germs, heat, cold and sunlight. Skin is tough, elastic, flexible, waterproof, and has two layers: the epidermis on top and the dermis on bottom. Your skin continually renews itself throughout your entire life by producing new cells that push to the top of the skin surface. Because your skin is one of the most important parts of your body, it is essential to take care of it year-round.
