Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Entry Level
• Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.)in the State of Minnesota
• NCCAOM Diplomat
• 0-3 Years clinic experience

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence informed, patient centered care in accordance with the approved policies and procedures of the NWHSU clinic system for a minimum of 12 patient contact hours per week
• Provide the highest quality care possible utilizing best practices and assist each patient to reach his or her goals while maintaining a strong clinician/patient relationship insuring patient satisfaction
• Monitor patient progress and ensure appropriate follow up care. Refer patient to internal or external health care professions as necessary and dictated by clinical findings
• Complete all necessary patient documentation in accordance with University Documentation Best Practices and Paperwork Timeline Policy
• Be accessible and responsive to the patient's needs
• Develop and maintain clinical expertise by staying current with best available scientific research and literature
• Implement practice building strategies to grow oriental medicine practice, including relationship building activities, public speaking, community event opportunities, etc.
• Attend required faculty inservices (CPR< Blood-borne pathogen, etc.)
